Facility

Özgörkey Gıda's facility in Torbalı, Izmir, spans 1,000,000 m2, including a covered area of 100,000 m2. The facility has an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tons, handling potatoes, fruits, vegetables, coated items, and bakery products. Standing as Türkiye's largest frozen food production facility, Özgörkey Gıda operates fully computerized cold storage facilities capable of accommodating up to 30,000 tons of packaged products. At our state-of-the-art facilities, every stage of production is managed through a computer network, ensuring precise control from raw material receipt to storage.

High Quality Standards

The Quality Assurance (QA) Department of Özgörkey Food has a total of four laboratories: Raw Material Laboratory, Process Control Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, and Final Product Laboratory.

The QA Department, which continues its activities to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction, meticulously controls all stages of production and ensures that the customer only receives the highest quality product that has gone through strict physical, chemical and microbiological analyses.

In its production facilities, the company has implemented ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and BRC (British Retail Consortium) quality and food safety systems to prevent potential hazards in advance, using food production technology that ensures consumer health from the supply of raw materials.

Özgörkey Gıda's R&D team, known for introducing pioneering innovations to the Turkish retail market, launches a diverse selection of new products, including cakes, vegetables, potatoes, and the very first snack products in the frozen food category.
